F4 means four generations removed from the African serval, and SBT means the pedigree is pure Savannah-to-Savannah with no recent outcrossing. F4s are the sweet spot for buyers who want a genuinely wild-looking cat that is still bred for a living room: high energy, water-loving, leash friendly, and happiest when it can shadow you room to room. Plan on vertical space, real play sessions, and a raw or high-protein diet.

F4 questions
F4 Savannah FAQs
How big does an F4 Savannah cat get?
F4 males usually mature between 16 and 25 lbs and females between 12 and 18 lbs, with the long legs, big ears, and tall shoulders people picture when they think of a Savannah.
How much does an F4 Savannah kitten cost?
Our F4 SBT Savannah kittens start at $3,000. Approved applicants reserve with a $1,000 non-refundable but transferable deposit, and the balance is due before homecoming.
What is the difference between an F4 and an F5 Savannah?
The F4 is one generation closer to the serval, so it tends to be larger, longer, and more exotic looking. The F5 is slightly smaller and a touch more laid back. Both of ours are SBT with the same socialization.
Are F4 Savannah cats legal in my state?
F4 SBT Savannahs are legal in most US states, but a few states and individual cities restrict hybrids or require permits. Confirm your local rules before reserving — we will not place a kitten where it cannot legally live.
When is your next F4 litter available?
Our next F4 litter is expected soon and reservation spots are limited. Approved applications are placed in deposit order, so applying early is the only way to secure first pick.
